As reported by Nashville NBC affiliate WSMV, Gallatin (Tenn.) Station Camp High"s Sunday matinee season opening soccer recreation towards rival Beech (Tenn.) High, which can be televised by ESPN2, has drawn so much in style attention that it inspired the city"s most popular church, Station Camp Church, to re-schedule it"s conventional 10 a.m. Sunday morning mass. The service will now be held at 5 p.m. as an alternative of 10 a.m.
The re-scheduled mass is a brand new transfer for the Sumner County town, which treasures many of the oldest Southern traditions, God and football chief amongst them.
Rather than being upset, Station Camp minister, the Rev. Dan Cooke, mentioned that your entire congregation is worked up about Sunday"s massive kick off.
"I know that is going to be a once in a lifetime occasion for the youngsters," Cooke instructed WSMV. "And we"re just loopy about it. We"re excited."
Tickets for the sport are on sale for $6 and reportedly have been selling briskly, with the 2 schools anticipating 1000"s of fans at the game. That may only improve the atmosphere and excitement at the recreation, with loads of time after the ultimate whistle for followers to get into the pews at Station Camp Church, win or lose.
