Wayne Rooney put new Manchester United manager David Moyes in a really troublesome state of affairs by refusing to back down from his switch demand all summer season. Rooney then claimed to be too injured to train with the membership or participate of their preseason matches, but on Wednesday, he was match enough to start out England’s friendly towards Scotland. Rooney has been one massive headache for Moyes since day one, however on the primary day of the new season, every little thing is developing David Moyes.
With Rooney sitting on the bench right behind him, Moyes watched as his side took a 2-0 lead over final season’s Capital One Cup winners Swansea with objectives from Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck. And to add insult to revenge, the dugout chairs at Liberty Stadium just so happened to be sponsored by hair loss drug Regaine. An amusing coincidence given the truth that Rooney underwent his second hair transplant process earlier this summer season.
Matchday one and Moyes is already proving to be a worthy alternative for Sir Alex Ferguson on a number of completely different ranges (assuming he secretly arranged the Regaine sponsorship on behalf of Swansea for the only objective of breaking Rooney’s spirit).
UPDATE: Having undergone enough thoughts games for one day, Rooney entered the match in the 60th minute.
UPDATE II: Man United ended up successful 4-1 with Rooney organising their last two goals. That is three factors for David Moyes, but whereas his teammates have a good time, Wayne Rooney stands alone.
