TCU needs LSU to know, there will be blood. Now, whose blood stays to be seen.
Friday afternoon, the Horned Frogs rolled out the new duds, that are black with purple and purple trim. The purple is meant to indicate the blood the horned frog shoots from its eyes in self-protection.
Yep, we will’t make that up.
In all probability the most interesting part of TCU’s reveal was that defensive finish Devonte Fields was one of the models. Fields, the Horned Frogs’ finest participant, obtained in some hot water this offseason and won’t be taking part in in the Horned Frogs’ first two games. But hey, a minimum of he received to attempt on the uniform. Methinks that’s some sort of Gary Patterson mind sport punishment.
So, even when the Horned Frogs get run over by the Tigers next week, they’ll not less than look good doing it and really, that’s all that matters to recruits.
This is the fifth installment within the Nike Professional Combat series for the Horned Frogs. They first broke them out in 2009, then twice in 2010 and once more in 2011, and all the uniforms have been sharp.
