Crikey, is this real about Major League Cricket Baseball opening the 2014 season Down Beneath in Australia? Yep, it is truthful dinkum, mate. MLB released the ’14 schedule Tuesday and, as reported in June, the Los Angeles Dodgers will play the Arizona Diamondbacks at the Sydney Cricket Floor on March 22 and 23. These would be the first regular season games ever performed within the Southern Hemisphere, which means the MLB season will open and shut within the fall.
