But most teams most likely would not need to agitate considered one of their superstars over a relatively small sum.
ESPN reported the information that the Broncos will take back $1.25 million from Miller’s bonus money. The report said the Broncos will automatically withhold the money from Miller’s paychecks when he returns. The ESPN report mentioned NFL executives declare the Broncos “had no choice” because of how the league needs to function. That will make sense, considering the crew has to know Miller will probably be upset with the group contemplating his complete loss from his suspension will rise to more than $2 million with the signing bonus loss.
Not surprisingly, Miller’s representatives appear ready to battle it.
ESPN reported that Miller’s lawyers do not assume returning part of his signing bonus was a part of the settlement reached with the NFL.
It’s setting up a little bit of a showdown between a workforce with Tremendous Bowl aspirations and a player who’s instrumental in these hopes, to not mention the acrimony it could trigger when Miller is ready to signal his second contract.
